A Walk Down Memory Lane-Lego Boy

Joinin' Erica @ Scottsville again today on A Walk Down Memory Lane.

For years now, I regularly find the most interesting images on my camera...

These are typical pictures that I find. Creations that Scout/Lego Boy just has to capture on camera... just too good to forget.

He used his birthday money to buy more Lego this year.

Will it be the last? We are growing up quickly these days.

But he continues to be so sweet and kind.

Crazy about my Lego Boy.

Well how old is YOUR LEGO BOY? Because MY LEGO BOY is 12 and still LOVES THEM! I too have found many the Lego contraption on my camera. I never know what I'll find on there though. Pictures up nostrils, down throats, toes, fingers, dirt, leaves, bugs and yes, LEGOS!

Thanks for joining me on my walk. =0)

This is why Legos remain a classic.

Enjoy this time while it's here. When they outgrow Lego's they seem to be stuck between toys and employment. I remember the many times I stepped on Lego's in my bare feet or found them chewed by the dog.

Thanks for sharing!

My Lego Boy is 10, and spends every penny that he earns, asks for them as presents...he loves to build and that makes this mama sooo happy! His room is literally filled with his creations, sometimes he takes one down and re-configures it...what an imagination! Hope you are having a terrific and "ana-less" day...giggle....Remember, take it easy for a while :)

He is still so sweet. I can not wait until we can spend time together over the summer. I think little Rooney will have fun hanging around a "big" boy.

Aww how sweet! I love that he wants to capture them on the camera! How creative!

Oh dear.. I have a file folder on my computer set up just for "Bionicles". And now it's Star Wars, and they've overtaken his bathtub (I never knew a 9 year old boy could spend an hour and a half in the bath.. but he can). Save those pictures.. I have a feeling that, not only will YOU love looking at them some day, but Lego Boy's boys will, too!

That is adorable that he takes pictures of his little creations with your camera. I think I'd have to put all those pictures in a scrapbook...the legobook. :)

Isn'y it so sweet to find photos your kids took! Especially when it is unexpected. It always makes me giggle! Lovely little lego men!

My youngest (11 year old) still loves Lego's and is always wanting me to take pictures of his 'creations'. What a great memory to have pictures of something they created! Thanks for sharing!

So sweet honey! It's like a little bonus only for you! His own little subliminal message to you! And, I love having sweet boys. Madeline has always been sweet but I am so glad Max himself is also very sweet! It's an amazing start to a great life and wonderful tools to always have with them.
how are YOU feeling by the way? I hope all is better! ;)

My son loves legos, and buys them with his own money too…they surely are pricey thought. I think they are a creative way to spend time…better than the computer.

What a coincidence you wrote about this, babe. I've been thinking about it too. I realized that it could very well be his last Lego set, and the thought makes me want to cry...

Manly tears, though.

That first picture of the lego guys is funny! My 5 year old likes to take pictures of his Duplo creations too. He enjoys building models of the digestive system and obstacle courses for dogs out of the blocks.

When I think of my boys getting older, it makes me cry. They're my little children to love and teach now, but I know someday they will be grown and moved out, not needing their mom as much. It makes me sad. It's a good reminder to love them and hold them a lot while I can.

*So if her room was pink then, what color is it now? Is she still into pink?

I hate that my little one was never into things like that. Maybe it's a girl thing.

We had those lovely Polly Pockets. Yuck.

I find weird pics on my camera from time to time. Not cute little pictures of dolls and toys, but WEIRD pics. Earlier this year, I went to put my digital photos on my laptop, only to discover that my 5 year old had taken photos of our dog trying to "mate" with an old shoe! Talk about a shocker!

:) it's not a big deal having class in the summer. it's just one of those things...luckily it's only and 8 weeker. then i'll have i think maybe a 2 week window and start 4 new ones. :)
ps. the blonde roots don't show...too often. but it sure is funny when they do. :)

We bought so many Legos that I felt like we owned stock in the company! We still have buckets of them around! Guess they'll be for the grandchildren! LOL
