No Strings Attached...Just a Bow

Hello Bloggy Friends!

I have a present for one of my favorite people.

It's not a Christmas present...

It's not a birthday present...

It is a "no strings attached" giveaway for people who come by my blog:

to read a nurse story...

or see a picture of cute kids...

to share in the life of a firewife...

or just to take a nap ;)

Why? Just because I like you :)

You don't have to be an official follower...

You don't have to even be a blogger...

You don't have to tweet...

You don't need to blog about it...

You don't have to shout it from your rooftop...

I'll send it across the globe...

Old or young, male or female...

It's just for you :)

Just leave one comment by

Sunday October 4th at 10 pm (Pacific).

I will draw a name and send you a surprise.

Yep, just because I like you.

You like me? Really! And to think I was scared of the nurse who carried a gun! :) (Maybe I shoudl worry more about my husband who accidentally blows up buildings?)

Have loved your blog from the first time we stumbled upon it - Brian's is a bonus :)

We like you too!! We really, really do!

if I leave a comment does it mean that we get two entry's for one blog? or do we have to split it up????

I really like the odds the first way, and I am all about advantage...

especially with gun packing nurses...

This reminds me of a quote from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Johnny Depp. "The best kind of prize, is a surprise!"

I love these random, make it easy kinds!

Love reading your blog! Also, Brian's. Have a great weekend!

My favorite giveaway criteria thus far! I come by your blog because I LOVE reading your stories from the delivery room! Since in nursing school I have found more and more how much I like Women's Health/Obstetrics; especially with each rotation that I complete because the rest just don't interest me! You also have some pretty cute kids if I do say so myself!

There's nothing like a giveaway to find out who exactly is out there reading your stuff. Well, I am. You've been on my blogroll for quite a while but I've never commented. Sorry about the secret blog stalking...

Miranda said...

This will be by far the most commented on post of your's for awhile. LoL. No, your stories are too touching to not leave a comment on.
Great idea! It's funny, I'm doing a drawing also on my blog. Make sure you stop by!

Ahhh.. how sweet!! I love reading all of your stories! Being a surgical nurse, I was hooked after reading the one where the lady swallowed a lap tape. I have seen some crazy things in the OR, but this is a new one on me- HA! I honestly still can't believe she did that!

Thanks for the sweet comments on my blog!! Hope you are having a good weekend!

What a wonderful treat for your readers! I haven't had time to catch up on blogs lately, so I missed your last post. So, Happy (belated) Anniversary! I hope it was full of love and happiness :)

OK, so I admit it; I nearly missed this one! Because you and Firehubby came up on my blogroll with new entries at the same time, and I must confess that I HAD to find out what happened to the bird. And then I was out of time for blog visiting, so I just made it back here. Whew! :<) I'll never forsake you or leave you (book of Ruth), but I might lag behind a bit during these busy times. I'm always praying for grace....
love you, sweet Julie!

Samantha said...

Wow. This is really cool. I've never commented before. I love the stories you tell. I can't wait till I'm done with nursing school and have some stories of my own to tell!

Well, you know how I feel. Man it has been awhile since I have been over here to comment.. What a great idea, and look at all the wonderful people who love you, not as much as me of course.

Thanks for your call today, it really made my day...

Hey Julie - it's me Orah. Not that I do not like prizes, but I actually have a question, yet I don't want to post the specifics here. It has to do with how quickly you were able to get into Mayo Clinic? My mom has something that she suffers from and she has tried many things and years ago, Mayo Clinic told her it would either be a two year wait, or she could just show up and take her chances on a cancelation. I think she may benefit going there. Can you email me? oreeo75@yahoo.com Thanks.

I am so excited to enter! I am a nursing student, and work as a CNA in a birthing center, so I love your stories and your insight. Can't wait to see who wins and what the gift is!
