Bored Game Anyone?

My girl loves board games:

"Mom, want to play a board game?"

"No one will play a board game with me."

"Can I have a friend come and play a board game with me?"

A couple of days ago:

"Mom, can I get a board game to play when you go on your trip?"

"Sure," I said, "just write me a note..."

This is the note I found:

"Buy a new BORED game."

LOL! She seriously thought that was what the games were called.

Makes sense ;)

I wish my kids were like that!! I *love* board games. When I ask the girls to play with me I get..."Nah board games are dumb". Except for the 5 year...which leaves not so many to choose from.

That is funny. I remember when my daughter wanted to know who this Arson guy was and why can't the catch him.

Oh, we definitely drag 'em out when we're bored, so that DOES make perfect sense! Or cards...we've been playing a LOT of "Go Fish" lately! Your girl is a keeper... just like her mama!

So fun! I love board games....and I feel like your daughter with "no one will play any games with me"

my husband tells me it has something to do with my over-the-top competitiveness. I say it's because he always loses to me.

Hope this finds you smiling, my friend!

Found you through Once Upon a Miracle and now following because I figured that if they said you were a must read ... it must be true! :)

Looking forward to getting to know you!

Please help me spread the word of a sister in Christ who so desperately needs help with a limited amount of time left.
