Kiss Us, We're Irish

The traditional St. Patty's Day celebrations happened yesterday-despite the civil war...
The 2 combatants actually SAT NEXT TO EACH other!

The traditional jigs were jigged!

We forced them =)

They ACTUALLY touched each other-EWWWWWW~gross!

But it was a great jig!

Although dad is Polish he got into the jig action =)

Fun!

Looks like a Happy St. Patricks Day was had by all! As my dad would say, "thump those two in the head!" when they start acting up!

Glad the soldiers could pause the battle, if only for a moment! :)

Glad they pronounced peace for a short time. Hopefully it will not just be a short truce but an end to the war.

At least there was peace for a moment. Too cute. Love their holiday gear.

Glad a little peace made it into your home - if only temporary! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment!

Aww looks like so much fun! This brought back memories of St Patty's day mornings in my house growing up!

That's okay...even though it was only a moment of peace, it's evidence that there's hope, right? lol

ah...how wonderful that the kids will still cooperate. Legare did his thing in Chapel Hill and, while Lorelai was home for Spring Break, she took off for the beach with her friends for a couple of days.

Hi Sweet Friend!

Hope all is going well! Looks like we've both been absent from blogging lately. Also looks like a terrific St. Patty's Day.

Take care,

This cracked me up!!! My twins are 6, and the "baby" is almost 5. I always laugh to myself everytime I hear one of them say, "He/she is touching me." I remember those days with my siblings. LOL

Man, I missed this one! Ha... your commentary makes me think of MY childhood. My bro and I totally despised each other; the very WORST punishment that my parents could dole out was to make us sit on the couch with our arms around each other for five minutes! ewwww.....
(and Brian is POLISH? No wonder we get along... my grandfather came over from Poland!)

Sorry you are struggling with sibling woes. At least two of my four were battling at any given time, so I've been there. They do grow up and they do become friends, so just hang in there.

It is ironic that I found your blog today because I was just talking about my kids and fighting. I was a widow and taught childbirth education at our local hospital. My boys (older than the girls by ten years) usually babysat. UNLESS they were fighting, in which case they would receive the ultimate punishment...one of them would have to come with me to class. lol

They are now ages 22 to 34 and I haven't had to separate them in quite a while. lol
