In memory of the two firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department who lost their lives today while selflessly serving the citizens of Southern California.
Oh man, I hate hearing that! As a fellow firewife I cringe and say a special prayer for the families and and for mine every time I hear of a fallen firefighter. We really are blessed to be married to one of this nations heros. Counting my blessing tonight and praying for thier families.
Love and prayers to the families of these Heroes and prayers of protection for the many men and women who are bravely fighting the fires and risking their lives each day to protect us.
It is a terrible awful thing. My husband and I were just talking last night about these brave men. We pray for all of them. It hits my husband hard, because his dad was a firefighter.
So sorry to hear this news. It is a tragedy - even to die a heroe. I hope California fires become a thing of the past. And thank you to all the firefighters who continue to serve and protect. Stay safe!
Praying here in Georgia.. for the grieving families left behind, for the firemen in the field, for their loved ones who wait and worry. May God be with all of you and hold you close. hugs....

Oh Julie... I hadn't heard.
So very sorry and so grateful for their sacrifice.
I'm so terribly sorry to hear this.
Oh how sad...they are in my prayers. Tell firehubby to stay safe! I cannot imagine what goes through your mind when you hear something like this.
I was just thinking of you the other day and wondering if your hubby was one of the firefighters fighting the fires I'm hearing about in CA. Is he?
That is so sad about those men. And their families. Firefighters are real heroes!
